An item is regularly priced at $45. It is on sale for 20% off the regular price. How much (in dollars) is discounted from the regular price?

    So ill show you how i like to do these problems. First change the percentage into a decimal 20% = 0.20. 45*.2 = 9. So its $9.00 off and the total price is $36.00
