14. The perimeter of a church window is 80 inches. If the window is in the shape of a square, what is the length of each side of the window?

    Perimeter of a square is P = 4s ... where s is the length of 1 side.

    P = 4s

    P = 80

    80 = 4s ... divide both sides by 4

    80/4 = s

    20 = s ... so each side is 20 inches
