    Jane has 27 coins, Kindra has 20 coins and Joyce has 9 coins.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let Joyce's number of old coins be 1 unit / base unit.

    Therefore, Jane has 3u coins and Kindra has 2u + 2 coins.

    Total = 1u + 3u + 2u + 2 = 6u + 2

    6u + 2 = 56

    6u = 54

    1u = 9

    Joyce has 9 coins.

    Jane = 3 x 9 = 27

    Jane has 27 coins.

    Kindra = 2 x 9 + 2 = 18 + 2 = 20

    Kindra has 20 coins.
