1 6

2 18

g (x) = 3x + 3

x g (x)

-2 3.11

-1 3.33

0 4

1 6

2 12

Based on the tables, what is the solution to the equation 2 (3) x = 3x + 3?

    Hello,

    Answer C) x=1 for 3^1+3=3+3=6 and 2*3^1=2*3=6

    Without the tables:

    2*3^x=3^x+3

    ==> 2*3^x-3^x=3

    ==>3^x * (2-1) = 3

    ==>3^x=3^1

    ==>x=1
