    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let the two numbers be x& y

    Product of the two number is

    xy=60 ... i

    Half of the Sum of the two number

    x+y/2=16 ... ii

    Solve simultaneously

    When we cross multiply,

    Equation 2 will be

    X+y=32

    make x subject of formulate

    x=32-y

    Substitute for x in equation 1

    y (32-y) = 60

    32y-y^2=60

    Rearrange we get

    Y^2-32y+60

    Factorise

    y^2-30y-2y+60

    (y^2-30y) - (2y+60)

    y (y-30) - 2 (y-30)

    (y-30) (y-2) = 0

    y=30 and y=2

    To get x

    When y=30

    x=32-y

    x=32-30

    x=2

    When y=2

    X=32-y

    x=32-2

    x=30

    Therefore y=30,2 and x=30,2

    30 and 2

    Step-by-step explanation:

    I'm not so sure about this but when you add 30 + 2 that equals 32 and then if you divide by 2 you get 16 (and the you when times 30 x 2 you get 60
