If you want to use the coupon:

    First, find 25% of 19.96

    0.25 * 19.96 = 4.99

    Subtract this from the amount:

    19.96 - 4.99 = 14.97

So it will only cost you $14.97

    ok multiply 19.96 by. 25

    you will get 4.99

    subtract 19.96-4.99

your answer will be 14.97 and that's how much the CD will cost you.
