What is the probability of randomly meeting someone whose social security number ends in the same last digit as your SS#?

    The probability is 1/10 it means 1 out of 10. The reason is that there can be 10 different digits possible for the last digit of the SSN, if 2 people have the same then only 1 event is favourable. Only one number out of the ten.
