The hypotenuse of a 30° - 60° - 90° right triangle measures 22 cm. What are the lengths of the longer leg and shorter leg?

    Sin (30) = ops/hyp=x/22

    22*sin (30) = opposite

    22*sin (60) = opposite

    So remember that the longest side is 2x the shorter side is x, and the middle side is x by square root of 3. Hypotenuse is the longest side, so to find x, divide 22 by 2 and x=11.
