    So

    1 gallon = 4 quarts

    1 quart = 2 pints

    g = 4q = q + q + q + q

    g = 2p^+2p^+2p^+2p^

    1 gallon equals 8 pints

    2 gallons equal 16 pints

    THe answer is 16 pints

    1 gallon = 8 pints, so 2 gallons = 16 pints.

    If each container can hold one pint, then she will need 16 containers.
