The answer is 66.75
I would suggest multiplying 2 in (2x+1) by 2 5/8 first, then multipling 4 by 2 5/8. This will garner you 10 and 5.25. Distribute the 9 into the (). You'll then get 10.5+47.25+9
Add and you will get 66.75

Firstly, we would substitute 2 5/8 (which I will simplify to 2.625 for now) into the equation. Then, we would get 4 (2.625) + 9[2 (2.625]+1). By order of operations, we would begin by multiplying within the term. Thus, we derive 10.5+9 (5.25+1). When we simplify for the second term, we get 56.25. Add this value to 10.5 and we get the answer, which is 66.75. In terms of mixed fractions, the correct answer would be 66 3/4.
