    Integers are whole numbers, which van be positive and negative. Positive integers are the hole numbers greater than zero, while negative are the whole numbers smaller than zero.

    The thermometer for example uses positive integers (temperature presented in degrees greater than 0 degrees Celsius: 25 °C, and negative integers (temperature below zero, example - 15 °C).
