Solve the inequalities.

2. y - 5 ≥ 0

3. x + 4 < 10

1. 3t<=27 so divide 3 on both sides to get t=9

2. y-5>=0 so add 5 to 0 and get y=5

3. x+4<10 so subtract 4 from 10 to get x=6

Always undo addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and always do it on both sides!

Solving an inequality is just like solving a normal two step equation.

1. T is less than or equal to 9.

2. y is greater than or equal to 5.

3. x is less than 6.
