    Step-by-step explanation:

    the slope is basically like if u have 3 you put 3/1 because 3/1=3 and the numerator is the number you rise or go down and the denominator is the number that tells you to go left or right this is the y=mx+b form or the rise over run form.

    so for example if you have y=2x + 5. You would start off at (0,5) on the graph and you would move up 2 and right 1 this is the rise/run method m is 2 so you would put it as a fraction so that you can know whether or not to move upwards, downwards or left or right if u have a negative number like for u put - 4/1 which means u go down 4 and 1 to the left and u keep on continuing until there's no more space to plot on the graph
