    number of cards = 100

    number less than 14 = {2,3, ...,13} = 12

    number perfect square = {4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81, 100} = 9

    so

    a) probability = 12/100 = 3/25

    b) probability = 9/100
