Cans of fruit to total number of items ...

    cans of fruit = 6

    total number of items = (6 + 4 + 7 + 4) = 21

so ur ratio is : 6/21 which reduces to 2/7 ... so ur ratio is : 2/7 or 2 to 7 or 2:7
