a bag contains 9 marbles to our green three are red and 4 are blue. donna chooses a marble at random, and without putting it back, chooses another one at random. what is the probability that both marbles she chooses are red? write your answer as fraction in simplest form

    The choice of the first marble is 2/9 She doesn't replace a red if she gets one.

    The next choice is also red. That's 1/8. The probability of this happening is

    2/9 * 1/8 = 2/72 = 1 / 36. Hard to do. Answer
