    Sharon position, S (t) = 18 + 4t - 16t^2

    Ball position, B (t) = 5 + 16t - 16t^2

    S (t) = B (t)

    18 + 4t - 16t^2 = 5 + 16t - 16t^2

    16t - 4t = 18 - 5

    12t = 13

    t = 13/12 = 1.08

    Answer: t = 1.08 seconds
