How do you solve a (x plus b) = c in terms of x using the distributive property?

    Do you mean

    a (x + b) = c

    If so to distribute you need to multiply a and x

    Multiply a and b too

    You would get ax

    You'd also get ab

    Then the equation would be ax + ab = c

    The form given above would make it easier to solve
