    For x = 10, f (x) = f (10) = 0.01 (2) ^10 = 10.24

    For x = 17, f (x) = f (17) = 0.01 (2) ^17 = 1310.72

Now using formula for the calculation of average rate of change of f (x).

    (f (b) - f (a)) / b - a = (f (17) - f (10)) / 17 - 10 = (1310.72 - 10.24) / 7 = 185.78

    So option "B" is correct.
