Which of these situations represents opposite quantities that combine to make 0?

A tennis ball is thrown 15 feet into the air. The tennis ball falls 15 feet back to the ground.

A football player runs 5 yards and then 5 more yards.

Six apples are put in a bowl. Three of them are eaten.

A sandwich is cut into two equal pieces.

    The tennis ball answer is the correct answer because it adds 15 then subtracts 15 to equal 0!
