Solve the equation. (-7x + 2) ^1/3 = (4 + 3x) ^1/3

(-7x + 2) ^1/3 = (4 + 3x) ^1/3
take the cube of both side to eliminate the 1/3 power
so you get
-7x+2=4+3x
combine like terms
-10x=2
solve for x
x=-1/5
