If she used 2 3/4 cup and 1 1/3 cup you need to add.

    2 3/4 = 2 9/12

    1 1/3 = 1 4/12

    2 9/12 + 1 4/12 = 3 13/12 or 4 1/12

So the answer is D. The answer is not reasonable and it's about 4 cups.
