The temperature in a room was 14 degrees below zero at 11:00 A. M. If the temperature starts increasing at a rate of 3 degrees per hour for 4 hours and then increases at a rate of 5 degrees per hour for 5 hours, what is the temperature at 5 P. M.?

    11:am - 3:pm = 4 hours at 3:pm the temperature is 26 degrees

    3:pm - 5:pm = 2 hours

    26 + 2 (5) = 26 + 10
