Reverend James insists that every person attending Easter services make a cash donation to the charity box. there are three choices a small donation of $1 a moderate donation or large donation the. large donation is 4 times as much as the moderate donation if 120 people attend Easter Service and 50% make a large donation 20% make a small donation and the rest of the people make a moderate donation $4,440 will be collected. how much money is a moderate donation?

    120 people. 50% is 60 people. 20% is 24 people, the rest is 36.

    Let L=large donation, M=medium. We also have L=4M. The donation equation is then:

    60L+36M+24=4440

    60L+36M=4416 substitute L=4M

    276M=4416

    M=4416/276=16

    So the answer is $16
