    7 kilometers per 1 week equals 8.75 kilometers per x weeks.

    7 / 1 = 8.75 / x

    7 = 8.75 / x

    7x = 8.75

    x = 8.75 / 7

    x = 1.25

    It took 1.25 weeks to build 8.75 kilometers of road.
