    f (x) = x^2 + 2x - 8

    Factor the polynomial by finding 2 numbers that when added together would equal 2 and when multiplied together would equal - 8.

    The factored form is (x-2) (x+4)

    Now find the zero's by solving for the two x's:

    x = 2 and x = - 4

    The answer would be {2,-4}
