Cindy is baking cakes to raise money for her track team. The total cost of all of the ingredients for her cakes is $50. She will sell each cake for $12. Write an equation that describes the relationship between the number of cakes Cindy sells, x, and the amount of money, y, raised for her track team.

    12 x x (variable) - 50 = y

    Step-by-step explanation:

    The first x is multiplication btw. So 12 is the money per cake so, money per cake times whatever many she sells, so a variable, cos u dont know yet. so then you subtract 50 from the ingredients and u get ur answer.
