A rectangular park that measures 245 yards by 420 yards has a sidewalk around it. What is the least distance a person must walk to go around the park once?

    It will take someone 1,330 yards to walk around it once because a rectangle has 4 sides and 2 of those sides are equal. So 420 x 2=840, and 245 x 2=490, and if you add those you get 1,330 and that is how many yards it takes to walk around the park once.
