Isabelle is mixing red paint with blue paint to make purple paint. She adds 3/10 of a fluid ounce of red to 11/15 of a fluid ounce of blue to 1 1/30 make fluid ounces of purple. How many fluid ounces of red paint will she need to make 3 fluid ounces of purple paint?

    40/13 that what she needs

    I think that each paint would have a same amount so divide 3 by 2, then you get 1.5 ounces per color.
