A kite and its tail total 36 ft in length. The tail is five times the length of the body. How long is the kite's tail?

    30 feet long. If the tail is 5 times longer than the kite itself, together with it makes 6 parts. 6 divided by 36 = 6. So, the tail is 6 multiplied by 5.
