The Jackson family needs to travel from

Georgetown to Mayville. They can drive

53 miles to Center City, then 28 miles to

Ashland and 98 miles to Mayville, or they

can go 28 miles to Clinton, then 49 miles

to Grover and 85 miles to Mayville. Which

route is shorter and by how much?
