A rectangle has an area of 16 ft2. every dimension is multiplied by a scale factor, and the new rectangle has an area of 64 ft2. what was the scale factor?

    1/4 i think, the new rectangle is 4 times the area

    I believe the scale factor is 4. 16 x 4 = 64
