Kim got her pay raise, and her hourly pay went from $12 to $14. Jane also got a raise, and her hourly pay raise went from $13 to $15. Who had a higher percent change in pay rate?

    Dan : His is higher % change in salary : take $2.00 amount of the increase/12 the original amount = 17% increase overall

    Kathy: you take $2.00 amount of the increase/13.00 the original amount = 15% increase overall.
