A cylinder has a radius of 40 ft and a height of 17 ft. What is the exact surface area of the cylinder?

    2 pi r h+2 pi r squared

    2 x pi x 40 x 17 = 4272.566009

    2 x pi x 40 squared = 10053.09649

    so 4272.566009 + 10053.09649 = 14325.6625
