If N be a whole number thats less than 100,000. N has a 3 in the tens place a 5 in the thousands place. What is the greatest possible value of N?

    N < 100,000

    We have:

    x5, x3x

    The highest number we can put without changing the values that are given is 9, therefore:

    95,939

    This is what i got, however i could be wrong.
