3/5 hour, 1/6 distance was covered.

    1 hour = (1/6 : 3/5)

    = 1/6 * 5/3 = 5/18.

5/18 of the distance would be covered.

3/5 is 2/5 less than one whole

We need to find how much they traveled in 2/5 of an hour and add that to 1/6

In 1/5 of an hour, they traveled 1/18 of a mile

    (1/18) * 2=1/9

    1/9+1/6=10/36

    10/36=5/18

They traveled 5/18 in one hour
