The highest elevation in Asia is 29,028 feet above sea level the lowest elevation is 1,312 feet below sea level what is the difference between these two elevations

    27,716 is the difference because 29,028 - 1,312 = 27,716.

    Sea level is 0 ... anything below sea level is negative ... so that 1312 becomes - 1312.

    now we subtract ...

    29028 - ( - 1312) =

    29028 + 1312 = 30340 ft is the difference
