    U. S Flag - rectangle in shape

    scale of 0.5 cm = 1 in

    length of the scale 2.5 cm

    width of the scale 4.75 cm

    perimeter of the scale = 2 (L+W) = 2 (2.5+4.75) = 2 (7.25) = 14.5cm

    perimeter of the actual flag is:

    14.5cm * 1in/0.5cm = 29 inches.
