Well, 45 divided by 9 is 5, so we have to multiply six by five to get the answer. Five times six is 30, so 30 kids are in Mrs. Ramsey's art class.

30 of them are sixth graders.

Multiply 45 by 6/9 (part of the whole) to get 30.
