The theoretical probability is chances an event can occur, divided by the number of events.

In this case, flipping a coin and landing on heads is a 1/2 chance.

    P (heads) = 1/2

The experimental probability are the odds of an event happening in reference to data. In this case 110 flips landed heads up out of 200.

    P (heads) = 110/200=11/20

    Theoretical Probability = 1/2

    Experimental Probability = 11/20
