The sum of length and width is (98 in) / 2 = 49 in.

The length is 2 / (2+5) times the sum of length and width, so is 2/7*49 in = 14 in.

The width is 5/7*49 in = 35 in.

The area of the rectangle is (14 in) * (35 in) = 490 in².
