Water fills a community pool steadily all day, at a constant rate of 2.3 feet of water each hour. After 4 hours of attempting to fill the pool, the lifeguard turns the water off. If the pool was completely empty 4 hours ago, how much water is in the pool now?

    If pool was empty completely bfr 4 hrs and its rate of filling is 2.3 feets in per hour

    so in 4 hrs it filled 4x2.3 feets=9.2 feets after 4 hrs
