    Slope intercept form : y = mx + b ... so we basically just solve for y

    4x - 12y = - 84 ... subtract 4x from both sides

    -12y = - 4x - 84 ... now divide both sides by - 12

    (-12/-12) y = (-4/-12) x - 84/-12) =

    y = 1/3x + 7 <==
