    To calculate g, we use the formula F = mg. F is given as 180N, and m is given as 30 kg, therefore:

    180N = (30kg) (g)

    g = 6 m. s-1.

    The motion of this object would be decreased on Earth as more force would be required to lift it. If we assume g is 9.8 m. s-1 on Earth, we can calculate the force required.

    F = mg

    = (30kg) (9.8 m. s-1)

    = 294 N
