In a classroom of 28 students, 12 students are girls. if a student is selected randomly, what is the probability that the student is a boy?

    Total students (ns) : 28

    no. of boys (nb) : 12

    so,

    no. of girls (ng) : 28-12 = 16

    therefore,

    probablility of boy (pb) : nb/ns = 12 / 28 = 4/7
