A swimming pool holds 375,000 liters of water. two large hoses are used to fill the pool. the first hose fills at a rate of 1500 liters per hour and the second hose fills at a rate of 2,000 liters per hour. how many hours does it take to fill the pool completely.

    When both hoses. are working together. they pour 1500 + 2000 = 3500 liters per hour.

    The hours it takes to fill is 375,000 / 3,500.
