The measure of an angle is three times the measure of a supplementary angle. what is the measure of each angle?

    Supplementary angle = 180 degrees

    angle 1 = x

    angle 2 = 3x (three times the supplementary)

    3x + x = 180

    4x = 180

    x = 45 degrees

    angle 1 = 45 degrees

    angle 2 = 135 degrees
