The function fof (x) = 0.6 sin (2 pi over 5x) represents the velocity of air flow of normal breathing cycles, where x is measured and seconds. A cycle consists of inhaling, where air flow is positive, and exhaling where air flow is negative. The air flow is measure in liters per second. How long is one complete cycle and what will the airflow be in 150 seconds?

    Step-by-step explanation:

    f (x) = 0.6sin (2πx/5)

    f (x) > 0

    = 0.6sin (2πx/5) > 0

    => sin (2πx/5) > 0

    => 2πx/5 < arc sin (0)

    2πx/5 = π

    x = 2.5

    At t = 150 sec

    f (150) = 0.6sin (2π150/5)

    = 0.6sin (60π)

    = 0
