    1995 = x

    1996 = x + 0.62

    1997 = x + 0.62 + 0.29

    x + x + 0.62 + x + 0.62 + 0.29 = 11.25

    3x + 1.53 = 11.25

    3x = 11.25 - 1.53

    3x = 9.72

    x = 9.72 / 3

    x = 3.24 < = = 1995 = 3.24 million

    1996 = 3.24 + 0.62 = 3.86 million <==

    1997 = 3.24 + 0.62 + 0.29 = 4.15 million <==
