If f (x) = x^2 - 2 and g (x) = 4f (x) - 1 then what is the value of g (-3) ?

    I believe that g (-3) = - 9. I could be wrong though.

    g (x) = 4f (x) - 1

    g (x) = 4 (x^2-2) - 1

    g (3) = 4 (3^2-2) - 1

    = 4 (9-2) - 1

    =4*7 - 1

    = 28-1

    =27
